Orchidaceae

This earcuff design was produced for the LVMH Charitable foundation in response to the MA Collaborative challenge project and London College of Fashion.

Titled “Bloom”, the design was based on the blooming of an orchid, the the symbolism of this project was to show the development of a person and how they “bloom” as they develop in life. I designed the ear cuff in Blender and Z Brush and it was 3D printed in a plant based sustainable resin, the shape was modelled around the ear using interconnecting vines to attach the main structure to the wearers ear.
