UnFold magazine is a yearly publication from Liverpool John Moores University Fashion Communication students. For the 22’ issue we were tasked with exploring the history of Terrace Culture and the affect it had on the fashion world. For my work I decided to look at the effect Terrace Culture has had on trends having revolutionized streetwear as a whole, prior to its inception it was rare to see sports clothing worn as street style. With this in mind I focused on a large trend of 2022, Gorpcore. I myself had six pages featured in the magazine, exploring Gorpcore, Street Style, and the influence that Terrace Culture had on other aspects of street style such as Skateboarding. I was also one of the Lead Designers working on the publication, helping with layout and colour grading the magazine.

This work was featured in Liverpool’s Walker Art Gallery’s 2022 exhibition “The Art of Terrace Culture”
