Fallen Angel
Fallen Angel was my final editorial project of 2022, the aim of the project was to show the connection that the fashion world has to the digital world. The aim was to design an earcuff in 3D Design softwares Blender, ZBrush and Lychee which would then be digitally rendered as well as being 3D Printed and used as the central focus of an editorial zine. I began planning out mockups for my Ear Cuff design, inspired by Anime references and elevated costume jewellery. Once the design was finalised my good friend Maarten Langerock helped me to bring the design to life in Blender. After this was done I rendered my design using Adobe Dimensions and then sliced it in Ultimaker Cura before printing it in the FabLab at Liverpool John Moores University. Once printed the Ear Cuff was then primed and spray painted for a white finish.
The Zine which was produced for LOANHOOD, a fashion rental marketplace is featured at the bottom of the page, this explains some of the design and 3DPrint process in more detail.
